Photography Dilemma:

Is this Real or is it Photoshop?

Photographers face many different challenges but I am here to propose a question....will technology such as Photoshop replace photography?  There have been many advances in photo software and even special effects that people can practically recreate just about anything with just code.  The question is will these eventually make photography obsolete?  This question was also address in an article named Photography in the Age of Falsification:  http://www.theatlantic.com/past/docs/issues/98may/photo.htm.  What do you think?

"Oceans" Exhibit Cancelled:

Frames USA & Art Gallery is committed to support our local photographers.  We have been in business for 20 years, we do professional custom framing and also have gallery space.  As a local business we understand that we all have to compete with major chains and major corporations, as local photographers we are sure that you face some of the same issues.  We want to understand what your needs are and how we can help you address them.   Please contact us, send us an e-mail, visit our website, give us a call.  Any framing need or question, showcase your work: tell us what you need, we are here to help you grow.  

As of now we have decided to cancel the "Oceans"  Exhibit.  Currently we are in the planning stage to host another event for photographers, please stay tuned.

Reminder to All Photographers:

PHOTOGRAPHERS:

There is still time to enter your work for out "Oceans" exhibit.  Bring us your interpretation of our title inspired theme.  All pieces of art must be delivered at our location at 6822 SW 40th St Miami , Fl 33155. Every piece must be framed and may not exceed 30" X 30" and must be equipped with hanging hardware.  Once you arrive with the work to be displayed you must hand in the MANDATORY consignment agreement form.  NOTE:  it must be signed and filled out for Frames USA & Art Gallery  to be able to display your work.
